Abdullah Al-Sheety (1934 Haifa - 1999 Kuwait), a Palestinian writer and journalist. He worked for several Arab newspapers and managed the editorial board of the Kuwaiti newspaper Al-Rai Al-Aam and Al-Nahda magazine, and published collections of stories and satirical articles.

He was born in Haifa in 1934. After the 1948 war, he took refuge with his family in Beirut and Damascus. He worked in Damascus as a teacher in a private high school, and also worked in the press, and was an auditor in the Damascene newspaper Al-Ayyam and later edited it. In 1963 he moved to Kuwait and worked with Brigadier General Abdul Aziz Al-Masaeed in the Kuwaiti Public Opinion House as managing editor of both Al-Rai Al-Aam newspaper and Al-Nahda magazine for more than three decades. The most famous of these are “Whispers and Nostalgia” in Al-Bairaq, and “Aphrodite Songs” in Al-Nahda, and he published articles in the Emirati newspaper Al-Wahda and Akhbar Al-Usbu’ magazine in Qatar, and Al-Dawliah magazine published in France, and he appeared in various Kuwaiti and Gulf media outlets.
He was a member of the Arab Writers Union, the Kuwaiti Journalists Association, and various cultural and literary associations.
