Raja Issa Al-Essa is a Palestinian journalist. He was born in 1922. He contributed to the issuance of the Palestine newspaper, which was published in Jerusalem (1950-1967), then he settled in Amman and was elected captain of journalists. He passed away in 2008.

He was born in Jaffa in 1922. He studied in Ramallah. His family was distinguished by thought, literature and politics. His father, Issa Al-Issa, founded the Palestine newspaper in 1911. He entered the American University to graduate from it with a BA in political science in 1943. He worked in the Palestine newspaper, and its management devolved to him after his death. His father worked there until the Palestinian Nakba occurred in 1948. This catastrophe led him to travel to Egypt, where he settled for two years, then returned to Jerusalem and returned to issue the Palestine newspaper, which was published in Jerusalem in the years 1950 to 1967. Then he settled in Amman and was elected captain of journalists on the occasion of the merger of the Palestine newspaper. Al-Dustour newspaper and published in Amman. He died in Amman in 2008 and was buried there.
