Rashid Malhas (November 3, 1967 -),
Jordanian actor, director and broadcaster.
his life and career
He was born in Irbid Governorate. He
completed his academic studies from Russia in 1994 in theater, in which he
holds a master's degree. He is a registered member of the Jordanian Artists
Syndicate.
He began his acting career in 1995
through important roles in several Jordanian series, then worked as a director
for some Jordanian festivals and then as a play director. After that, he
participated in several Arab works, the most important of which was with the
Syrian director Najdat Anzour in the series Al-Bawasil in 2000.
He made his first experience in
presenting in 2002 through the competition program “Al-Khazneh” on Jordanian
TV, after which he presented roles in joint Arab series, including Al-Harisi
and Al-Badawi.
In 2012, he returned to Russia to
present news bulletins on the Russia Today channel, which broadcasts from
Moscow until the end of 2014. He then returned to Jordan to join, at the
beginning of 2015, the team presenting the morning program Dunya Ya Dunya on
the Jordanian Roya channel, which is owned by Al-Sayegh Group. Then he
presented the newscast on the same station.
