Journalist Ahmed Abdel-Al-Mustafa
was born in the city of Haifa in the State of Palestine in 1932, corresponding
to the Hijri year 1350 AH, and then moved to the Syrian Arab Republic to settle
after that in Kuwait, at the request of Sheikh Abdullah Al-Mubarak Al-Sabah,
who asked him to establish the Kuwaiti radio station, to start his broadcasting
career. In Kuwait, he was a news editor, then a broadcaster and program
presenter since 1959 until he became the head of the programs and news reports
department between 1992 and 1997, after which he held the status of a
consultant in the management of news and political programs, but in 1960,

Journalist Ahmed Abdel-Al died
while he was in Germany on a treatment trip, during which he underwent a
successful heart operation, but he suffered from a health problem in the
intestines that led to his death on Sunday, November 11, 2013 AD, corresponding
to Muharram 7, 1434 AH, at the age of 81.

Awards and honors
In 2009, Kuwait honored him with
the State Appreciation Award for Media Excellence in the field of audio
broadcasting, in recognition of his contributions and achievements in the media
field.
In 2003, on the occasion of the
50th anniversary of the founding of the Kuwaiti media, he was awarded an
appreciation award for his role in establishing the most important facilities
of the Ministry of Information.
