Nablus honors theater artist Osama Malhas as a cultural figure in Nablus
The Palestinian Ministry of Culture and the Cultural Advisory Council, in cooperation with the Municipality of Nablus, organized a cultural artistic ceremony in honor of the artist Osama Malhas, in the presence of a large number of intellectuals and artists.
In his welcoming speech, Amin Maqbool, a member of the Municipal Council, representing the municipality of Nablus, spoke about the artist Osama Malhas and the importance of honoring creative men and women from the people of the governorate.
Walid Abdel Salam, Director General of the Arts Department at the Ministry of Culture, representing the Minister of Culture Siham Barghouti, spoke about the importance of honoring creators at the height of their cultural giving, praising the theater artist Osama Malhas, and talked about the artistic relationship that he had and still has with Malhas in theatrical work.
Artist Osama Malhas expressed his happiness and thanks to the Ministry of Culture and the Cultural Family for choosing him as the cultural figure of Nablus, and he considered this honoring of him as a tribute to the entire artistic family in the governorate.
While the artist Abdul Rahman Alqam performed this ceremony with patriotic songs that won the admiration of the audience, the theater artist Taher Bakir excelled in divination of the ceremony in his distinctive way.
At the end of the ceremony, Hamdallah Afaneh, Director of the Office of the Ministry of Culture in Nablus, thanked everyone who contributed to the success of this ceremony, especially the Hawa Center for Culture and Arts and the Jaffa Cultural Center for their contribution to sponsoring the ceremony.
