Daoud Bandali Al-Issa is a Palestinian journalist , born in the city of Jaffa in 1903. He participated in founding and writing in several newspapers.
His life
He studied at the Orthodox school in Lebanon . He worked as administrative director of the Palestine Daily newspaper, which was the first Palestinian daily newspaper published regularly and the longest-running. She and her fellow Palestinian newspapers wrote against British colonialism and the Zionist invasion. [2] He then published “Al-Bilad” newspaper in Jerusalem in 1951 . [3] His acquaintances called him “the Sheikh of the Press” due to his central role in nurturing and developing the Palestinian press. [4] He contributed to establishing the Orthodox Club in Jaffa and worked as director of Al-Dustour newspaper before he died in Amman in 1983 and was buried there.
