Montaser Marei (1975, Kuwait ) is a Palestinian -Jordanian journalist and director for Al Jazeera . He holds a BA in Sociology from the University of Jordan, and a course in photography and film directing from London. He joined Al Jazeera in 2002 as a journalist on the Al Jazeera Net website . He also worked as a journalist on Al Jazeera News and is currently responsible for production at Al Jazeera Documentary Channel. He covered the events of the Egyptian revolution from Tahrir Square .
