Fouad Rizq Saad , a Palestinian journalist , born in the village of Umm al-Fahm in 1931. In 1952 , he moved from his hometown to the city of Jerusalem and settled there. He worked in the fields of education and journalism , and held many positions in Jerusalemite newspapers , such as: the Defense newspaper and the Jerusalemite newspaper Al-Jihad . In 1970 , he served as editor-in-chief of the Jerusalem newspaper Al-Shaab until 1980 , after which he founded Al-Wahda newspaper. In 1979, he founded the first Association of Arab Journalists in Jerusalem and the West Bank . He died in 1983.
