Iman Ayyad (May 29, 1971 - ); A Palestinian-American journalist, born in Kuwait, originates from the town of Beit Sahour in southern Jerusalem.
She is currently working for Al Jazeera, where she joined in 1999 as a major news anchor and presenter for programs such as "Between the Lines", "Manbar Al Jazeera", "Liqa Al Special" and "Liqa' Al Youm".
Her mother, Karima Ayyad, worked as a media person and gave interviews to Anthony Quinn, Faten Hamama, and the wife of former Indonesian President Suharto. Before joining Al-Jazeera in 1998, she worked as a broadcaster and reporter for other channels. She also worked for the Arab American Network TV from Washington. She obtained a BA in political science.
her personal life
She is married with two children in the USA, formerly known as “Iman Banora”. She has been absent from Al-Jazeera screens since mid-2011 due to cancer, and her treatment journey in the United States lasted for two and a half years until she returned to appear on the channel.
