Daoud Bandali Al-Issa is a Palestinian journalist, born in Jaffa in 1903, co-founding and writing for many newspapers.
his life
He studied at the Orthodox School in Lebanon. He worked as the managing director of the daily Palestine newspaper, which was the first Palestinian daily newspaper to be published regularly and the longest-lived. She and her colleagues from the Palestinian newspapers wrote against British colonialism and the Zionist invasion. After that, he published Al-Bilad newspaper in Jerusalem in 1951. His acquaintances called him "Sheikh of the Press" due to his central role in sponsoring and developing the Palestinian press. He contributed to the establishment of the Orthodox Club in Jaffa and worked as director of Al-Dustour newspaper before he died in Amman in 1983 and was buried there.
