Born in Jaffa in 1942, obtained his BA in Geophysics from University of Baghdad 1964; MA in Engineering from University of Belgrade 1968, received his PhD from University of Belgrade in 1971; worked at the Ministry of Oil (Iraq) consultant of the Arab College for Studies and Research.
