Information
Abd al-Rahem Badr was an astronomer,
physician, painter, and writer. He was born in Hebron, Palestine, in 1920 AD.
He graduated as a doctor from Cairo University in 1945 AD, and died in 1994 AD.

He was interested in studying
astronomy, and with astronomer Khalil Kunusul, he founded the Association of
Amateur Astronomy in 1987, which changed its name to the Jordanian Astronomical
Society in 1994. He was a member of the Jordanian Society for the History of
Science.

articles and astronomical books, including:
The Hunchback Universe: It was
printed in 1962 AD and it is about the theory of relativity.
