A talented and inspiring educator, she is always keen to encourage her students to flourish in their academic and personal lives. It always aims to provide a safe educational environment for its students that requires work, interaction, and participation in the hope that they will develop into active individuals in their community, which needs them so much. She currently works at An-Najah National University as head of the department in the College of Graduate Studies for Human Sciences and a lecturer in the College of Educational Sciences, Teacher Preparation, and Postgraduate Programs.
She holds a doctorate from the Department of Educational Policy, Research, and Administrative Educational Sciences - International Education at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst in the United States, and a master’s degree in curriculum design and teaching methods and a bachelor’s degree in English language teaching methods from An-Najah National University.
She was awarded a Rutherford Scholarship to pursue postdoctoral studies at Northumbria University in the United Kingdom. During her post-doctoral study, she focused on the role of education providers in Palestine in developing the concept of citizenship and citizenship education in Palestine. Her passion for teacher education and development has led her to participate in a number of different programs that provide training for in-service teachers and future teachers.
Her research interests are related to future teacher education and teacher training, teaching methods, educational technology, and citizenship education
