Professor Dr. Muhammad Khalil Al-Saeed was born in the town of Deir Istiya. He received his primary and secondary education in Deir Istiya and Salfit schools in 1977. He obtained a bachelor’s degree in science/physics from the University of Jordan in Amman in 1981. Then, in 1984, he joined the University of Middle East Technical Center (METU) in Ankara/Turkey to complete his graduate studies. In 1985, he obtained a master’s degree, and in 1990, he obtained a doctorate in theoretical physics, specializing in solid state. During his studies, he worked as a research and teaching assistant at METU. ) between the years (1984-1990).
After obtaining his doctoral degree, he traveled to the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus to work in the Faculty of Science at Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU) for ten years between the years (1990-2000), and in (1994) he was promoted to associate professor, and obtained a degree. Professorship degree in the field of theoretical physics in 1999 from the same university.
He worked as a professor at King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals and the University of Hail in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia between the years (2000-2010).
He returned to his homeland in 2010 to join the Faculty of Science at An-Najah National University and is currently still working as a professor in the Department of Physics/College of Science.
Professor Dr. Al-Saeed has various research and teaching interests and activities in the field of theoretical physics, where he published various scientific research in prestigious international journals with an accredited impact factor (IF) within the SCOPUS group.
He participated in a large number of international and scientific conferences by presenting working papers and posters, and supervised master’s theses in the Department of Physics in the field of theoretical/nano science and technology.
He also taught various courses in the Physics Department in all its programs: bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral.
