Hasan Al-Sayyad received his university education at the College of Arabic Language at the Islamic University in Al-Madinah, Saudi Arabia. He earned his Master's degree from the Faculty of Arts at the University of Hebron, Palestine, and his Ph.D. in modern Arabic literature from the Institute of Arabic Studies and Research in Cairo, Egypt.
