The young Palestinian woman, Nour Al-Qawasmi (38 years old), aspires to be a Sharia judge in Palestine.
About seven months ago, Al-Qawasmi was appointed as a legal representative in the city of Hebron, to receive support from her family and colleagues in the court, even though she faced some expressions of surprise among the community.
Al-Qawasmi, who holds a master’s degree in Sharia judiciary, had been working in the Sharia Court in Hebron for several years, and her mission was to divide the inheritance for those who resorted to the court.
