Palestinian Dr. Youssef Al-Jaish, who holds the position of Dean of the Faculty of Nursing at the Islamic University of Gaza, obtained the rank of “Professor” in Public Health.
With this achievement, Dr. Youssef is the first doctor to obtain the rank of professor of public health in Palestine.
The Palestinian professor participated in dozens of conferences and workshops related to public health and nursing in Palestine and a number of Arab and foreign countries, and has numerous publications in international scientific journals.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in nursing sciences from Al-Quds University in 1994. He also obtained a master’s degree in nursing education from the University of Jordan in 1998 with an excellent grade. He underwent three months training in infection control at St George's Hospital, Kingston University, in London in 1993.
In addition, Professor El-Geish is an evaluating member of the Accreditation and Quality Assurance Committee (IQAC) for many health education programs.
