One of the distinguished graduates of Birzeit University
Dalal is from the village of Beitin, east of Ramallah, and currently resides in Istanbul - Türkiye
- When she was 6 years old, she began her journey with the anthem. At 9 years old, she lost her father, and when she was 16 years old, she completed memorizing half of the Qur’an.
Dalal studied at Birzeit University in the Department of Arts - Arabic Language and was nicknamed “Little Sibawayh” between the years 2003-2007. Her bachelor’s thesis was entitled: “The Effect of Parsing on Changing the Meaning in the Holy Qur’an.”
She then studied a Master’s in International Studies at Birzeit University in 2010, and then began her journey with academic writing in 2011 with the publication of her first book, a Master’s thesis.
Dalal then received a German DAAD scholarship to study a doctorate in Germany, where she moved there to complete her doctorate at the University of Cologne, in the Department of Islamic and Cultural Studies in 2012.

And the Chris Mickelson Award and the Muwatin Foundation.
And the MERC Award for the best presentation of a doctoral thesis in Tunisia.

And the Khair Jales Prize for Reading from Birzeit University.
She has a number of scientific papers in a number of international conferences, most of which were about women and their role on the political and social levels.
-She chaired the Social Committee of the Student Council at Birzeit University for its session in 2006-2007.
Dalal then worked as coordinator of the collections of the Al-Sharq Youth Forum from April 2017 until the end of 2018, where she supervised more than 20 collections affiliated with the Al-Sharq Youth Forum around the world.
She is also a member of a number of international academic and research institutions, such as: a member of the American Political Science Foundation (APSA), a member of the German Foundation for Middle Eastern Studies (DAVO), a member of the International Muslim Women’s Union (IMWU), and a member of the European Muslim Women’s Forum ( EFOMW).
She established her personal project, which she considers her life’s project, which is represented by the Empowerment Initiative, which aims to support and empower young women, university students, specialists, and experts who need to nourish their experience by examining and benefiting from global opportunities and experiences in order to develop their performance in various cognitive, practical, scientific, economic, and entrepreneurial fields.
Dalal has 6 books and books, and she cares a lot about her family and teaches them from her personal and scientific experiences. She is the mother of two daughters (Tayba and Elia) and a son named Ahmed.
