Asim Khalil holds a distinguished position as a Professor of Public Law and serves as the Dean of the College of Graduate Studies, holding the prestigious Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani Chair in Constitutional and International Law. Previously, he has held various administrative roles, including Vice President for Community Affairs, Dean of the College of Law and Public Administration, and Director of the Abu Lughod Institute for International Studies. Additionally, he is a member of the Board of Commissioners of the Independent Commission for Human Rights and the Board of Directors of the Al-Haq Foundation. Dr. Khalil earned his Ph.D. from the University of Fribourg.
