Muhammad Mustafa Muhammad Najm ( March 15, 1960 in Gaza -) is a Palestinian university professor . Since March 2024, he has held the position of Minister of the Ministry of Endowments and Religious Affairs within Muhammad Mustafa’s government .
His life
He obtained a degree in Da'wah and the Fundamentals of Religion from the Islamic University in Medina .
He obtained his Master’s and PhD degrees in Islamic Studies, specializing in Hadith and its Sciences, from the University of Khartoum in Sudan .
Al-Azhar University in Gaza awarded him a professorship in Hadith and its sciences.
In March 2024, Muhammad Mustafa chose him to hold a portfolio in the nineteenth Palestinian government .
On March 28, 2024, President Mahmoud Abbas approved the ministerial formation of the nineteenth Palestinian government headed by Muhammad Mustafa and gave it confidence. On March 31, 2024, Najm took the legal oath as Minister of Endowments and Religious Affairs at the Palestinian presidential headquarters in the city of Al-Bireh .
