Information
Born in Ijzim, Haifa Sub-district in 1912. He studied at the Arab College of Jerusalem; worked as a teacher in Haifa and Bisan; head of Al-Samakh School until 1948, member of the Arab Nationalists Movement, studied Law in Damascus University 1955, worked as a lawyer in Nablus, West Bank and Amman; elected as Vice president of the Jordanian Bar Association in 1966 and 1969. Settled down in Ramallah, contributed to the development of the Palestine Liberation Organization charter (PLO); elected as a member of the executive committee of the PLO, he then moved to Dubai in 1976 where he worked as a judge and legal consultant; returned to Ramallah in 1991; died in Amman 1998.
