It was held at the University of Florence - Italy, where statisticians from around the world participated.
Dr. Eida presented a paper entitled:
Parametric Estimation and Prediction under Informative Sampling and Nonignorable Nonresponse
The conference included many lectures on survey science and big data. In particular, the research papers focused on the topics of indicators that rely on surveys, big data, probability samples, non-probability samples, linking administrative records data, official statistics, estimating small areas, statistical software, in addition to the integration between probability samples and big data, errors. Other than sampling, such as: non-response errors with their various mechanisms, measurement errors, and others.
It was agreed, through lecturers at the University of Iowa in the United States of America, and the University of Tyr in Germany, to cooperate in the future in order to conduct joint research in the field of non-negligible non-response errors in surveys.
