Suhail Al-Khatib is a lecturer at the College of Science and Technology, Department of Biology at Hebron University, Palestine. Dr. Sohail has academic and research experience in the field of biology, and his research covers topics related to biotechnology, including plant tissue culture and the study of DNA polymorphisms in plants.
His education includes obtaining a master's degree in botany from Menoufia University in Egypt in 2003. His thesis focused on studies on tissue culture and DNA polymorphism in grape roots. Before that, he obtained a bachelor’s degree in plant production and plant protection from An-Najah National University in Palestine.
Dr. Suhail Al-Khatib works as a lecturer at Hebron University and teaches various courses in the field of biological sciences including plant physics, genetics, plant breeding, and biology. In addition, he researches and publishes research in areas related to plant tissue culture and DNA marker technologies.
His research interests are plant propagation using tissue culture technique and studying plant polymorphism using DNA marker techniques. He also works on ecological studies to understand the relationship between outcomes and exposure at the population level.
He also made research and academic visits to several research centers and universities.
