Information
Tareq Da'na is an Assistant Professor of Political Science at Hebron University, holding a PhD in Politics from the Santa Anna School of Studies in Pisa, Italy. His research interests span various areas, including neoliberalism, globalization, development, civil society, social movements, and non-governmental organizations (NGOs).
Da'na has contributed a chapter titled "Alternative Development or Alternative to Development? Post-development Theory and the Future of Social Movements in Palestine" to an upcoming book by the Bisan Center for Research and Development in Ramallah, Palestine. Additionally, he is working on another chapter focusing on the intersections between human rights and human security in the work of Palestinian NGOs, slated for publication in Saul Takahashi's edited volume "Human Rights, Human Security, and National Security: The Intersection," by Praeger Security International in Santa Barbara.
Currently, Da'na is engaged in a research project titled "Neoliberal Conflict Zone? The Transformation of the Palestinian-Israeli Conflict."
