Information
Nader Saleh is an Assistant Professor specializing in digital media and human-computer interaction. He holds a Master's degree in Digital Media and a Ph.D. in Human-Computer Interaction from the University of Bremen, Germany, with distinction. Previously, he worked at National Geographic in Hamburg and has diverse experience in content creation, digital storytelling, advanced interactive design, app development, big data analysis, and digital culture. Nader has also contributed to visual production in various commercial companies and research institutions locally and internationally. He has served as a research assistant, lecturer, and guest lecturer at several foreign universities before joining the University of Jerusalem. His research interests lie in qualitative research in digital humanities and Palestinian digital storytelling.
Since 2015, Nader has been the Head of the Department of Digital Media and Communication at the University of Jerusalem. Additionally, he serves as the Director of the Institute of Modern Media at the University of Jerusalem, Ramallah Campus, and has worked as a media consultant for several governmental and private entities. Nader led the development process of the first Master's program in Digital Media in Palestine, titled "Master of Digital Media and Communication," and continues to serve as its director. He also founded the first research forum in Palestine for digital media and communication, known as "Third Life."
