Radi Sidqi Sadouq (February 11, 1938
- July 20, 2010) was a Palestinian journalist, poet, and writer. He was born in
Tulkarm, Palestine. He obtained a BA in Arabic language from Cairo University
in 1971. He worked as a teacher for two years, then moved to journalistic and
media work in Al-Quds, Amman, Kuwait and Rome newspapers, and Jordan, Qatar and
Saudi radio stations. Appointed Director of the Publication and Communications
Department of the High Commission for the Development of Riyadh. He published
his poetry in Arab newspapers and magazines. He has many collections of poetry
and literary and critical works, and he has won a number of Arab and
international awards. He died at the age of 72 in Amman.

Muhammad Radhi Sidqi Sadouq was born
in the city of Tulkarem in the West Bank, on February 11, 1938. He received his
primary, preparatory and secondary education in the schools of his city,
Tulkarem, and among these schools is the Fadhiliya School. He obtained a BA in
Arabic language from Cairo University in 1971. He worked as a teacher, then in
journalism and took over the editor-in-chief of a number of daily newspapers
and magazines: the editor-in-chief of the weekly “Jordan Message” magazine
issued by the Jordanian Ministry of Information, and the editor-in-chief of the
monthly “Hamat Al-Watan” magazine, mouthpiece of the Kuwaiti army and forces.
Armed Forces, General Manager and Editor-in-Chief of Al-Ayyam newspaper, the
first daily newspaper published in Arabic in Rome, Editor-in-Chief of the
weekly Al-Raed Al-Arabi magazine. He also established the monthly magazine
Al-Bayan issued by the Kuwaiti Writers Association.
In the media, he worked as a
cultural advisor to the Jordanian Radio, and was assigned with another
colleague to establish the Qatari Radio. He also worked in the Saudi Radio,
supervising the Department of Hadiths and Culture, including the transfer to
contribute to the establishment of the Organization of Islamic Countries
Broadcasting and held the position of Program Director of the Organization. He
also worked as Director of the Publication and Communications Department at the
High Commission for the Development of Riyadh.
He was a member of the Union of Arab
Journalists, the Union of Asian-African Writers, a member of the Arab Society
for Strategic Studies Washington, and a member of the International Islamic
Literature Association.

He died on July 20, 2010,
corresponding to Shaaban 8, 1431 AH, at the age of 72, in Al-Hussein Medical
City Hospital in Amman, and was buried in Sahab Cemetery.
