Fathi Ali Rashid is a writer and
teacher, born in the village of Saffuriyya in Palestine in 1943.
biography
Fathi Ali Rasheed is a writer and
researcher on Arab political affairs. He is a member of the Arab Writers Union
in Syria, and a member of the Palestinian Writers and Journalists Union. He
holds a BA in natural sciences in Syria and a diploma in education. He taught
biology in Al-Hasakah, Deir Ezzor, and the Levant. He is a journalist and
writer for dozens of articles and research papers that have been published in
several Arab magazines, newspapers and websites such as Al-Hiwar Al-Motaddin.
He won the Syrian Culture Prize in 1976 for a cinematic treatment entitled
Shams al-Jawlan.

A documentary novel about the
October War, titled “Transgression,” published in 1999.
A book on the aggression against
Iraq, titled “It Happened and Incited in Iraq and the Region,” was published in
2003.
A book about the assassination of
Rafik Hariri entitled “Who Dare to Tell the Truth” was published in 2005.
A book on the aggression on Gaza,
titled “Gaza in the Eye of the Storm,” was published in 2006, anticipating the
aggression on Gaza.
