Information
Born in Gaza in 1976, Al Daya was awarded a Bachelors degree in Political Science from Al Azhar University. She has taken part in several workshops and courses in art, and has worked as an art instructor at a number of summer camps for children with disabilities in Gaza. In 2001 and 2002, she was one of the participants in the September Academy for Fine Arts (The Khaled Shoman Association for Arts). Her exhibitions have included ‘’Shadows of the Intifada’’ , ‘’Sanakoon’’ , organized by the Palestine Red Crescent Society Gaza, a Palestinian-Iraqi exhibition in Minnesota, USA, ‘’Five Artists from Gaza’’ , at Birzeit University, and many more.
