Born in Gaza in 1930; completed his secondary stage in Gaza schools in 1950; worked in teaching then he moved to Kuwait and worked there as a teacher in 1953; BA in Arabic language and its literature from Beirut Arab University in 1970; diploma in Islamic studies; elected as a president for the Palestinian Writers in Kuwait in 1986; a political activist.
