Salim is a Palestinian writer, translator and a storyteller, he was born in Makr, District of Acre in 1962; received his elementary education in Makr and secondary education in Terra Santa School in Acre; studied Law at the Ono Academic College. Salim has worked as an editor of Al-Ittihad Newspaper from 1983-1996, chief-editor of Ayyam Al Arab Newspaper since its release in 2000 until 2002.
