A Palestinian journalist, writer and visual artist who was born in Jerusalem 1946, resided in Amman since the late of 1965; he then joined the Fatah movement in 1968. In 1970, shaheen started to work in press; member of the Jordanian Writers Society, member of the Arab Writers Union in Syria. He has held several solo exhibits in many European countries; like Berlin and Paris, he has also gave a visual arts lessons at the European Summer Academy in Germany.
