Ibrahim Fawal (1933 -2020) is a Palestinian-American academic, former professor, and author of the historical novel On the Hills of God, about the experiences of a young Palestinian man during the Nakba, or "catastrophe" of 1948. He currently lives in Birmingham, Alabama.
Achievements and Awards
In 1998 he published his novel "On the Hills of God" (in English), which is a collection of the experience of the Palestinian youth Yusef Safi during the 1948 Nakba. Later, he released his second novel, "Deprived of an Inheritance," which dealt with the diaspora.
