Kamel Nicola Kabar is a Palestinian/Jordanian plastic artist (born in Beit Jala in 1943). He received his MA, BA and PhD degrees in Arts from the Higher Institute of Fine Arts, Sofia - Bulgaria, specialization: Applied Graphics - Posters. He has designed numerous posters, book and magazine covers, advertisements, annual calendars, cards, product covers and more. He designs and produces the yearbook of the University of Applied Sciences for the years from 1997 until now.
The artist is inspired by heritage, reflecting an engineering sense. Also, his dealings with the Palestinian dress and its plastic analysis, gave the artistic work artistic and aesthetic dimensions, and this tender came to serve ambition as an assistant element in its advancement, to be an identity and a symbol.
