Abdullah bin Muhammad Al-Alami (1861-26 July 1936) was a Palestinian jurist, poet, interpreter, debater, and participant in some Islamic sciences. He was born in Gaza and educated there and at Al-Azhar. He was issued to teach in Gaza and Beirut, and then he was appointed mayor of the Gaza municipality, as an inspector for its acquaintances. He immigrated to Syria in 1918 and was appointed a member of the First Syrian Congress, and gave lessons at the Umayyad Mosque. He is one of the Shafi'i scholars. He died in Damascus. Among its effects is the interpretation of the problems of the Qur’an and the interpretation of Surat Yusuf.

He is Abdullah bin Muhammad bin Salah Al-Din Al-Alami, Al-Hasani by descent, Al-Ghazzi by birth, Al-Dimashqi, stable and dead.
He was born in the year 1278 AH / 1861 AD in Gaza and received his initial education there at the hands of the scholars of his time. Then he moved to Egypt in the year 1880 and lived in Al-Azhar for seven years studying at the hands of his scholars. Then he returned to his hometown and worked as a teacher of interpretation in the Great Mosque. Then he left for Egypt for a year, after which he returned to his work in Gaza, then he moved to teaching at the Sayed Hashem Mosque, then he left the teaching profession and worked in trade, and he moved to Egypt in Beirut, where he was appointed as a teacher in the goldsmith’s office, then he returned to Gaza and was appointed as a procedure officer, so he inspected schools villages of Gaza, and then took the position of collecting knowledge funds, as acting president of the municipal council, then immigrated to Nablus and Damascus, and worked as a preacher in the Umayyad Mosque and a teacher for girls in 1918.
In the year 1336 AH / 1918 AD, he emigrated with his family to Damascus. He was one of the members of the First Syrian Congress and gave lessons in interpretation and religious guidance at the Umayyad Mosque, until he died on 8 Jumada al-Ula 1355 / July 26, 1936 AD.

He has a book that contains four systems, printed in Cairo in 1899, his poetry is closer to the systems, in which he frequently includes a verse from the Qur’an, his four systems:
The first is “The Boat of the Seas in the Science of Prospects” to show the types of seas and their weights, creeps and illnesses and their names.
The second is “The Invasive Riyadh Bouquet in Emptying the Millennium and Praising the Goodness of the Creation, the Four Caliphs and the Most High Imam Hussein,” where the first part is organized and the second is from the section on grammar.
And the third, “Kawthariyya in praise of the goodness of the wilderness,” he chose the sea of trotting for her.
The fourth is “Praising the Old Man with the Marked Mug,” which is a poem composed of disparaging the world in the manner of Sufism.
