Saeed Hamid Al-Sadr (January 13, 1909 - June 16, 1986), a plastic artist, born in Cairo to a family from the Palestinian city of Tulkarm. The Egyptian Appreciation in Arts in 1979.

Said Hamid al-Sadr was born in the Gamaliya district of Cairo on January 13, 1909 to a Palestinian family; His father and paternal grandfather are from the Palestinian city of Tulkarm, where his father, Hamid al-Sadr, had moved from Tulkarm to Cairo to study and work there.
In 1918, Saeed Al-Sadr joined Al-Silhdar Primary School, then in 1922 he joined Farouk Secondary School, where he completed his secondary education. After that, in 1924, he joined the Egyptian Institute of Arts and Decoration, where he obtained in 1928 a diploma in “Decoration and Woodcarving”, then joined in January 1929 at the Camberwell Institute of Art in London, where he studied at the hands of the international artist Bernard Leach and graduated from the institute in 1931 with a diploma "Professors of Painting".

Saeed Al-Sadr founded in 1940 the Museum of Applied Art at the Faculty of Applied Arts in Cairo. He also established the Ceramic Department in the same faculty. In 1960, the Egyptian Ministry of Culture commissioned him to establish the Ministry’s Ceramic Center in the city of Fustat. He also held the position of Dean of the Faculty of Applied Arts in Cairo during the period since 1967. Until 1969.
Saeed Al-Sadr represented Egypt in many conferences, exhibitions and international organizations, as well as Egypt at the International Academy of Ceramic Art in Geneva, Switzerland.
