Tawfiq Abdel-Al, a Palestinian plastic artist (1938-2002), born in Acre. He held his first exhibition when he was a nine-year-old in a school in Acre in 1948, under the supervision of his teacher, the painter George Fakhoury. After the Nakba of 1948, he moved to Lebanon, where he lived until his death in 2002.

In 1966 he held an exhibition in Beirut (48 paintings). In 1968 he held an exhibition in Libya and then in Damascus. In 1971 he held an exhibition in Baghdad (30 oil paintings). In 1980, he held an exhibition in Libya and then in Damascus. In 1982, he held an exhibition in Beirut entitled (Palestine in Dreams and Colors). And in 1993 - he held an exhibition in the People's Gallery in Damascus, and the Fine Arts Syndicate honored him by holding a symposium on his art. In 1993, he held an exhibition in the Yarmouk camp.
Tawfiq Abdel-Aal was an artist who was always concerned, so he moved between realism, symbolism, expressionism, and surrealism, and he practiced painting, photography, sculpture, and planning. He married Bakza al-Akhal, the sister of the artist, Tamam al-Akhal, and sculptor Akram al-Akhal.
