Dalal Ghazi Muhammad Abu Amneh (in English: Dalal Abu Amneh), born in (1983-) in the city of Nazareth in northern Palestine, is a Palestinian singer and producer and a research doctor in brain sciences and neurophysiology from the Technion Applied Institute in Haifa.

Dalal began singing at the age of four, when she participated in the Princess of Spring competition, and at that time won the title for the song “Maryam Maryamti” in 1987. At the age of sixteen, she was known for her elaborate performance of original tarab songs and old roles, in addition to her performance of Palestinian and Shami heritage songs. The great musicians of the Arab world witnessed her, such as Salah Al-Sharnoubi and Asala Nasri, and praised her voice, which, in their opinion, combines originality and modernity.
It is known for presenting committed human art and works to develop Palestinian art so that it preserves its originality on the one hand and emulates the young generation and the Western listener on the other hand as a means of consolidating the Palestinian identity and supporting the causes of the Palestinian people. Dalal has participated in important international and Arab festivals such as the Jerash Festival and the Arab Music Festival at the Egyptian Opera House. She has represented Palestine in several Arab operettas, such as the operetta Land of the Prophets 2012 and the operetta Call of Freedom 2014. Dalal is also preparing to launch her new album “Nour”, which is a musical journey in Sufi poetry, in which she presents old pieces of great Sufi poets such as Ibn Arabi, Jalal al-Din al-Rumi, Rab’a al-Adawiya, al-Hallaj and Ibn al-Farid, with modern melodies and arrangements specially designed for this project. Her upbringing and personal life
Dalal Abu Amneh was born in the city of Nazareth, on August 9, 1983. She has been fascinated by science and music since her childhood. In music, Dalal gained her fame for her sweet voice and her ability to perform various musical styles. While she was forging a global Palestinian identity through her music, she also produced all of her musical projects, including her three albums: “Aan Baladi”, “Ya City” and “Nour”. Dalal was known for her artistic projects drawn from the conscience and heritage of the Palestinian people. and Arabic, and was distinguished by its mastery of many lyrical genres, including classical music, Andalusian singing, Sufi spiritual chanting, in addition to its revival of the Palestinian and Levantine folklore.
Dalal grew up in an artistic family. Her mother, Juhayna al-Hawari, has a beautiful voice, but she did not become a professional in art and works as a nanny. Her father, Ghazi Abu Amna, plays the oud and owns a fish restaurant in the town. She has 4 female sisters, Nidaa, Salam, Jihan and Faten, where Salam and Jihan work in the field of art and singing and Nidaa and Faten work in the field of visual arts due to their hearing impairment.

Dalal or Amneh combined art with her academic studies, as she graduated from the Bishop's Seminary in Nazareth in 2001. She obtained a Bachelor's degree in Cognitive Science and Psychology from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem, followed by a Master's degree. Then she was accepted to study medicine at the Technion Institute in Haifa. It is worth noting that she was the first Palestinian Arab to study this delicate subject, which combines computer science, medical science, biology, biophysics, psychology and philosophy. In 2006, she joined the postgraduate program at the Technion Applied Institute, where she obtained a master’s degree in medical sciences with a specialization in brain science. "Ya City" project
It is a Palestinian singing and musical project conceived and produced by the Palestinian singer Dalal Abu Amneh, through which Dalal re-presents the Palestinian Levantine heritage in a new format, in which a group of grandmothers participate in singing and telling stories on stage. Dalal launched the theater project “Ya City” in 2015, followed by the release of a music album and a promotional video clip in 2016 bearing the same name.
