Information
Nasser al-Din al-Nashashibi, born in 1919 in Jerusalem, is a Palestinian journalist and historian.
He held several positions, including editor-in-chief of the Egyptian newspaper Al-Gomhouria.
He was also general director of the Jordanian Radio, and secretary of the Palestinian delegation to the Arab League.
He studied at the Rashidieh School, then at the National University in Aley, then the American University of Beirut, where he obtained a BA in political science and economics.
He then returned to Jerusalem and worked on its radio as a literary commentator.
Nasser al-Din al-Nashashibi published more than 50 books, most of which deal with the Palestinian issue and Palestinian rights.
