Born in Khan-Younis 1954; finished his primary and secondary education in his country; he then studied at the Faculty of Commerce in Alexandria University; arrested several times by the Israeli authorities; exiled abroad on 25 May 1972 and moved to Egypt, his poetry was published in many Arabic magazines and newspapers, his first Divan "Confessions" was released in 1997.
