Information
Of Jordanian nationality but born in Iraq in 1992, this youth comes from a family of musicians. His father, Mohammed Sidiq, is a pianist and composer who currently directs the Symphonic Orchestra of Amman, in which his mother also participates as a violinist.
He has played at many festivals and with orchestras from around the world, in Germany, Holland, Lithuania, England, Bahrain, India, Lebanon, Jordan, the United States, Greece, Egypt, Cyprus and Syria. In 2008, Layth entered the Chetham Music School in Manchester, England.
Layth is currently a student of the Berklee College of Music with a full scholarship. He expects to earn his degree in Interpretation and Direction. Layth studies the violin with an Arab musician known throughout the world, Simon Shaheen. He is also a member of the Palestine Youth Orchestra.
