Burhan bin Ahmed Ragheb Al-Dajani (1920-2000) is a Jordanian writer, thinker, writer and researcher of Palestinian origin. He was born in Beit Dajan in Jaffa, western Palestine. He received his primary education in Beit Dajan, and the Omariya school in Jaffa. He completed his secondary education at the English schools in Safed, then obtained a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the American University of Beirut in 1940 and a Master's degree in 1944. He then worked in the Arab Bureau in Jerusalem and London from 1945-1948 and studied at the Institute of Law in Jerusalem and obtained a diploma from the Palestinian Law Institute in 1948.

He founded the weekly "Al-Hadaf" magazine in Jerusalem in 1950, following the Nakba of 1948, and established the Education Department of the UNRWA in the West Bank (1949-1950) and appointed its director.

He was appointed as a professor and lecturer to teach economics at the American University of Beirut (1953 - 1974), a visiting professor and lecturer at the Lebanese University and the Beirut Arab University, he was chosen as Secretary-General of the General Union of Chambers of Commerce and Industry for Arab Countries (1955 - 2000), and contributed to the establishment of the Institute for Palestine Studies in Beirut ( 1962), and served as a founding member of its board of trustees. He also contributed to the founding of the Arab Cultural Club in Beirut (1956), and was elected its president, and was a member of the Advisory Committee of the League of Arab States for Economic Affairs. He was one of the founders of the Arab Nationalist Movement and one of the first advocates for the establishment of the market Common Arab in 1941, which he saw as the realistic entrance to Arab unity.

In recognition of his efforts, the Lebanese government awarded him the Order of the Cedars in 2000.
