Information
Born in Taiba village, Tulkarm 1898, studied his primary stage in Tulkarm, secondary stage at the Islamic College in Beirut, then he joined the American University of Beirut (AUB); studied history and literature; graduated in 1922, worked as a teacher in Dar al-Mua'lmen in Jerusalem (1922-1925). During the 1929 revolution he was arrested by the British Mandate authorities, after his release he moved to Iraq. In 1936 he joined University of Berlin - Germany, in to order obtain his PhD, but because of the Second World War he could not continue his studies, so he moved to Iraq. After al-Nakba, Meqdadi stayed in Damascus and was appointed as a history lecturer in its university.
Died in 14/3/1961, was buried in Beirut.
