Ramad was born in Bethlehem 1960, studied at Terra Santa College in Bethlehem; worked as an assistant of many artists while still young, he was arrested by the Israeli authorities; spent 7 years in jail. Ramad studied Philosophy he then studied Art (Sculpture) at the Fine Arts Institute in Ramallah, wrote short stories and articles. 

Ramad has held several solo exhibits in Bethlehem, Hebron and Nablus; he has also participated in many group exhibits; works as an Art teacher (Handicraft and Ornament).
