Zakaria Siam was born in Lifta, near Jerusalem in 1943. He received his secondary education in Jerusalem, obtained his Doctoral degree from Al-Azhar University in 1974. Zakaria has worked as a researcher and teacher he then became Dean of Queen Alia College in Amman, Jordan.
