Born in Jaffa in 1947; when al-Nakba occurred, the family were deported by the Zionist organizations and they moved to Lebanon; stayed in Beirut; studied his primary stage there then the family moved to Jordan. Studied his preparatory and secondary stages in Amman; he joined the American University of Beirut in 1968; graduated from Law school in 1972, practiced law in Amman.
