Ibrahim Ragheb Naji Melhem Abu Bahaa; Born on November 2, 1957 in the Dheisheh refugee camp, a Palestinian writer and editor-in-chief, serving as the spokesman for the government of Muhammad Shtayyeh.
Ibrahim Melhem was born in the Dheisheh Palestinian refugee camp in 1957 in the city of Bethlehem in the southern West Bank. He received his school education in the schools of the camp and the city, then joined Bethlehem University, from which he obtained a BA in Arabic literature, and later a master's degree from Al Quds University.
Ibrahim Melhem worked as a producer and presenter for many radio and television programs. He also headed the editor-in-chief of Ma'an News Agency, head of the Palestinian Radio and Television Authority, and general supervisor of the Palestinian newspaper Al-Quds. Since April 13, 2019, Melhem has been the official spokesman for the government of Muhammad Shtayyeh.
