Muhammad Sidqi Ayyash (born in 1925) is a Bahraini poet of Jordanian-Palestinian origin. The Bahraini national anthem, Our Bahrain, was written from Bahrain's independence in 1971 until 2002 when it was changed as a result of the emirate's transformation into a kingdom.

Lyrics of the anthem:
Our Bahrain is the country of safety, the homeland of the honorable. Its protector is protected by our Emir Al-Hammam. It was founded on the guidance of the message, justice and peace. Long live the State of Bahrain
