Information
Sultan Al-Qaisi (March 1, 1987 -), a Palestinian-Jordanian poet and TV presenter, was born in Amman. He has written poetry and translations, and won literary prizes.

He was born in Amman to a Palestinian family that was expelled in the 1948 Nakba from the village of Kafr Aana in the Jaffa District. He obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree from Al-Zaytoonah University, and worked as an executive director of Mosaique House for translations, publishing and distribution, before moving to work in television, where he works as a producer and presenter for programs at Al-Mamlaka Channel.
In 2007, Sultan Al-Qaisi, along with Hassan Maryam and Ali Al-Zuhairi, formed the “Triple Poets of Freedom” poetry group, and together they presented poetry evenings in Palestine, Jordan, and Lebanon. Some of his texts have been translated into English, French and Turkish.
