Naim Ibrahim Atallah, (born in Haifa on May 1, 1931 in Palestine, and died on February 2, 2021 in London)[4] is a Palestinian-British businessman, writer, and publisher. He was the owner of the publishing houses Quartet and The Women's Press, CEO of a number of companies, as well as his participation in many productions for theatre, film and television.[5]

Born in Haifa in Palestine, he went to Britain to study engineering in 1949, graduated in small businesses until he became the owner of a publishing house in London, and his name was associated with several literary, cultural and artistic magazines in the United Kingdom. He also worked in the field of commerce and banking, and worked for the “Asprey” jewelry company, managing it for twenty years.[5]
In 1976, he became the owner of Quartet Publishing, which was established in 1972. He entered the book world by issuing several novels, publishing magazines such as Literary Review and The Oldie, and founding the Woman Press publishing house. (in English: The Woman's Press) in 1977, and he also wrote irregular articles for him in several British newspapers. In 2017, the British Crown Prince, Charles Atallah, awarded the High Merit Medal (CBE) in recognition of his achievements over decades in the fields of writing, publishing, and the arts.[6][7]
Atallah wrote 17 books, including several novels; In 2007, he published his memoirs in a book entitled "Fulfilment and Betrayal", while British writer Jenny Erdal claims in her memoir that she was the hidden writer behind Naim Atallah.[8]
The British Crown Prince Charles awarded him an OBE in the 2017 Honors for his services to literature and the arts.[9]
